Theatres, Shows and Concerts

Shubert Theatre - “Chorus Line,” “A Little Night Music” with Jean Simmons, “Irene” with Debbie Reynolds, “Hello Dolly” with Pearl Bailey, “Gypsy” with Angela Lansbury, “Fiddler on the Roof” with Zero Mostel, “Stop the World I Want to Get Off” with Sammy Davis Jr. and “Stop the World I Want to Get Off” with Joel Gray.

Pantages Theatre - “Peter Pan” with Sandy Duncan, “The Doug Henning Magic Show,” “Annie,” “Barnum” and “Woman of the World” with Lauren Bacall.

Greek Theatre - Liza Minelli, Barry Manilow, Linda Ronstadt, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr., Burt Bacharach and the Carpenters, Bette Midler and Johnny Mathis.

McCallum Theatre - Contracted and played in the orchestra for the following shows: Johnny Mathis (45 musicians), Ray Charles (40 musicians), George Burns (18 musicians), Smokey Robinson (24 musicians), Sid Caesar (14 musicians), Patti Page (18 musicians), Engelbert Humperdink (22 musicians), “Shooting of Dan McGrew” (6 musicians), Mel Torme Show, Mitzi-Gaynor Show and Sheri Lewis Show. Mr. Shepard also played for two gala parties for the McCallum Theatre, performing with his own 16 piece dance band.

Other Theatres and Concerts - Hollywood Bowl Concerts with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Ambassador Auditorium, The Shrine Auditorium, Pasadena Civic Auditorium and Ahmanson Auditorium. Mr. Shepard also played two Jazz Concerts with his own 16 piece band for the Music Guild of the Desert featuring Bob Crosby at the Plaza theatre and the Hyatt Grand Champions Hotel.
